Worldly Encounters at Palm Springs International Film Festival
For the very best in foreign film, join 136,000 enthusiastic cinephiles and make your way to the annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (Jan. 3-14, 2019). The event showcases hundreds of films, including world premieres, from around 70 countries. The glitzy, red-carpet Film Awards Gala kicks off the event, and the Best of Fest screening closes it.
Tips for Attending:

- In December, check back for the film schedule and to purchase individual tickets.
- Dress in layers when attending; there are often lines outside of the theaters, and daytime and nighttime temperatures in the desert have a wide range.
